An American Voice in France

Meet L'Americain de Laon

Daniel Nestlerode has covered a lot of ground.  Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, seasoned in California, transplanted to Cambridgeshire, and now finally settled in northern France, Daniel’s influences are varied.

Given recent political events Daniel has decided to revisit American music and reclaim a portion of his culture.  He says, "I can't escape who I am and I can't escape what is happening in America. But by listening and by presenting American music I can remind myself and others that the real America is more beautiful and better than the America being presented by the tyrant in the White House.
